Baby Girl album

Another Baby Album...
This a gift for a friends sister whom is having as you can tell a little girl. I kept it simple but added a little bit of direction this round with a few titles and then since this is a 20 page album added in the months so each month she can take a picture and have a time line of her little one to see how she has grown. That is a nice thing about an actual album you can add those special events like monthly pictures to see life changes. So enjoy this special little album...
 Babys information goes here
Picture spot for baby
Precious little Angel w/ journaling tags

Mommy and Me and Daddy and Me pages
 Special Moments page
1 Month and 2 months
3 Months and 4 months

5 Months and 6 Months

7 Months and 8 Months

9 Months and 10 Months

11 Months and 1 Year

Last Page is just a ending for a random sweet baby picture

Hope you enjoyed the album

Tomorrow I should have the pictures of the bag book Lizzie has requested done

Bag Book for Jack

A dear friend just had a baby boy and I wanted to make a little treat for her so I made a bag book.
These papers I got from Etsy they are digital papers from a company called Moo & Puppy located in Colorado Springs.  I am also using this line in one of the cards for our June class so think of this as a sneak peak on the paper.

The circle with Its a Boy I cut using the Silhouette - Shape is from Echo Parks new line
Stickers in this book are from We R Memory Keepers and they are discontinued
Love this line and sad that I can no longer get them.
I only use them for special people!!!

A few tags here for some journaling
Kept it really simple since it is for a boy and no frills:).
But also I have no clue what pictures so when I do this kind of a book
I want to make sure I am not overwhelming the recipient with
to many directions with titles and such.
Generic baby stickers from We are Memory Keepers -  very neural
 More space for Journaling

This is one of those random stickers I always laugh at who would put a foot on a present???
I have to add it in because its so silly...
I just love this bear but he is so huge for a bag book so he is a cover art or a back page art
item. This book he got the back but he is still loved.....

 Tag #1 stack of blocks.
Ok I had another of these bears from another left over sheet of stickers and I added him here.
Too cute!
Another one of those funky stickers you just have to add to the book.
A diaper like shes going to do a diaper change picture.
yuck!

Hope you enjoyed my bag book tomorrow will be another baby book I did this weekend...
Its a girl one and turned out really cute too...

Dianne

Mothers Day gift - Finished!

Lizzie has been working on a special project for me for Mothers Day and with school, work and well everything else has just finished it up.
As you can see it is a long process as she decided to color and code tags for me with all my Copic markers.
Some colors had to be discarded as they are empty and cannot be replaced locally and some are almost empty but we can replace locally so we kept those colors. the list went on and on as to why this took a bit of time to do.
Now I will know what I have when I go to the store, what needs to be replaced and what I need to get as well as what coordinates with what color for a project. Its a great and handy tool. I thought she was going to make me a color chart and here I got a huge ring of tags. Its one awesome present and just what I have been needing.

Here they are all out in rainbow fashion
Here is a shot of them on the ring.
And the other wonderful thing is Alli my oldest daughter had sent me a Hobby Lobby gift card so I added to my Copic collection too.

And for those of you that didn't hear I had saved a bit for my Silhouette Cameo and Jason chipped in the rest for the deal on Oh My Crafts so just after Mothers Day it arrived. I have a wonderful 12X12 cutter to replace my old Silhouette that was making some very interesting noises as it was cutting. The new cutter is so quiet and cuts so nice. Jason can be in the same room with me while I am cutting files and he doesn't complain at all.
It was a great Mothers Day all around!!

Imagine That! Shopping trip

Here are some of the papers I got when I was shopping at the store in Roswell New Mexico
The store was named Imagine That!

It has about 7200 square feet of shopping and I browsed through 1 large room of fun stuff and 2 smaller rooms before we had to go. Miranda was not impressed until I had her help me look for stuff and even then was just ready to go. As you can imagine I did not see everything but then again I think I covered what would get me through the next few weeks....

Got this for a bag book for Baby Norah
Terry has been talking of doing a Dino book and I saw this paper from 3 bugs in A Rug and just thought it was so cute. I got extra to even try to do a semi girly one for Norah as Liz loves Dino's...
Little Yellow Bicycle had a set of stickers that I had to add in as well.
Couldn't pass up on a few of the animal items they had. as well
Love this divided 12X12 paper I found it is perfect for cards gives me 8 choices!
This one is by Nikki Sivils and titled My lil Monster
This was another one I found and its by Daisy Bucket
Goggled Daisy Bucket when I got home and they are no longer making paper.
So disappointing. Very fun paper. The back side is just of frames with monsters I felt this side with 4 patterns was worth the price.

So That was my scrapbooking store adventure on our trip. I had a fun time in this store and I wish they were closer as the staff was great and very helpful as well as knowledgeable. Always a plus when you are shopping. If you are down in Roswell I would recommend stopping by and seeing these ladies.
Loves,
Dianne

These pictures were taken just outside the store I posted them yesterday but I am re-posting them today because they are so cute!! All around Roswell they have these wood alien statues and I just thought they were fun so when we were by one I had Jason and Miranda pose. I was good and didn't make us stop at each one. (there were a lot) and I didn't take pictures of all the aliens around town (again there were a lot) but when we were at an establishment I made sure to get a few shots of them with the aliens. Glad Jason and Miranda are such good sports.... but Jason did say no to me bringing one home.

Back From New Mexico

We went to some fun places and saw some neat things and came back home with days to rest before Jason has to go back to work.

Some of the stops we made were....
Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe where we spent time in a private spa. it was amazing. We had a hot tub, Sauna and a small waterfall tub which was a colder mini pool to cool off in.

This is a shot of the entrance and the cool off waterfall pool in the bottom right corner with Jason and Miranda in it

Shot of the area you can sit and watch

Off to the side of the spa area is a natural area
The sauna is just past the spa
This is a great shot of the whole hot tub it was really a nice size for all of us

The deeper end of the pool was perfect for swimming

Fun shot of Miranda

Sitting with my girlie

After we left here we went to the hotel and just rested it was a wonderful night.

Next we headed down to Roswell New Mexico and met some new friends.....

Having a drink with a new friend

 waiting to call home
 Strange Medical Testing
 A new green Friend
 Bob and our Family
 2 more new friends
 A pink new friend
 and another green new friend

And what trip could be complete without a stop at a Scrapbooking store! This was a great store in Roswell called Imagine That! Great selection of new and old papers and embellishments. Glad I got to go and see this store for a little bit.

Next we headed to Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Caverns...

My pictures were a bit dark but here are a few that did better then others
Just remember these pictures are taken 750 feet under ground and they have very little lighting to help us take pictures.

The cave was huge and very interesting to go through. We walked the mile and 1/2 in what is called the big room. Got to see lots of interesting cave features and hear tons of facts through a self guided tour.

Now were back in Colorado safe and sound.....
