October Card Class

October Card Class October 1st Parker Hobby Lobby $35 come join us and make these fun 10 cards... Well girls the class started in my head as a fall class and the weather has just been too nice. So I switched gears a bit and did a bit of pre-fall cards. Started with 2 purple cards using the Cottage Wall  retired paper I just love the sweetness of that paper. Then onto 2 apple cards for a harvest feel (loving that caramel apple looks good enough to eat!). Next 2 sunflower cards for the flowers I am seeing on the side of the road. I  have to say I am torn which is my favorite on those two I love the brown one but the blue one is so sweet too. I guess they are both good for different things so they are both my favorites. The next one I planned to do 2 cards and ended up only doing 1 so next month I will use it again since it is such a beautiful stamp set.  So 1 field of flowers card that I had to do from a fellow SU demo,  I changed it up a ta...

Girls Weekend Update!

Girls Weekend Update! Wow it was a blast! Wish the rest of you could have been there to enjoy it as well. Tons of food and fun. Favorite parts: Spa: We stopped at the spa 1 st and had our spa treatments I had a pedicure which was way overdue. My toes are looking good! Some had massages – They looked quite relaxed and recouped after their long journey! Then it was off to the Condo to start the rest of our getaway Food : I know I’m bad but I love food and well let’s embrace it! Had these tasty little date, almond, crème cheese wrapped in bacon appetizers and oh my goodness they were good. Rachelle was the little culprit there she is a wizard! I brought an actual appetizer I had to make not just cut up it was spinach, artichokes, Alfredo sauce, crème cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, and some garlic. Some I put in Philo cups and the rest we ate with chips. The part with chips was Gluten free so I could eat it and I must say it was nummy. (Will be making that tasty treat again) ...

Save the Date - Family Reunion for Rachelle

This is a card that Rachelle and I made this weekend Rachelle fell in love with the concept of this card and with MDS we were able to make it happen in the colors she needed for her family reunion needs..  Love the colors! This card is what they refer to as a hybrid card. The idea came from the newest 2011-2012 Stampin Up idea book.

The little princess is of course Charlize! her party theme is Tangled so we came up with these invites with the pop up castle inside and then a little box will hold her favors and on top sits... you guessed it Pascal! We got the pattern thanks to Jasons Google search its a Disney pattern that you put together. Inside view of the invite. this is a pattern we got off of this site http://www.robertsabuda.com/popmake/index.asp They have a ton of pop up cards. The actual card that was sent out has the party info in the pond. These were so fun to make for such a sweet little girl.
