Wonderful Weekend

The Summer Fun Bag Book class this weekend was so much fun. Jane and Rachel did awesome and are so quick! Hope they enjoyed the class as much as I did. :) Lizzie made me the above title and this is the small version as the large one is too big. So it is back to the drawing board to resize when I have some extra time. This next week looks to be filling up with some baby boy and girl mini books as well as some more crayon tins so I can send them to the Littleton store. Card class is still in process. will post a sample set when I finish the "process" Also starting to plan our romantic getaway in September. Looking at The Cliff house near Colorado Springs with mountain views and hot tubs. It should be fun to hike a bit and then sooth out the kinks in the tub. and I believe they offer some romantic packages with chocolate strawberries and wine. Not sure about the wine so I will check with Zelda on which we should try. Another hotel I am looking at is up in Estes Par
Needed some wedding cards for the booth. Used the silhouette and my new Archivers exclusive CD images A simple cut of this cake and I created 4 cards in 4 different colors. Pink & Pearls Peach & Pearls! Sage & Pearls Blue & Pearls
Love this stamp set from Stampin up. I used pearls on the flowers. just a sweet card! Another of the same just a change in color - pearls are the best!
Closed look at the card for Rachel's bridal shower and the purse is a nugget purse favor for the party! Open look at the invitation to the bridal shower and another view of the nugget purse.

Weather - Weather - Weather!!!!

Okay the Oregonian in me is fine with rain and some hail a bit of thunder and lightening but this Colorado weather is getting out of hand! The first really big storm caused flooding in our downstairs office as well as some roof and window damage. Thank goodness for insurance! But the problem I am having with the weather is it continues every day.... Mid day hits and it is thunder/lightening/hail/tornado warnings/flood warnings/ETC! I am spending my afternoons keeping Miranda downstairs for safety after that first storm I'm not taking chances. Today she went to sneak upstairs and just as she hit the stairs a huge thunder and lightening combo struck. She turned and looked at me and said sorry. It was so cute I had to laugh. I didn't have an issue again with her going to the upper levels! On the scrap front I am working on some cards for the Wrought'n Apples booth and some baby boy mini books for Coutour Kids in Littleton. hope to get them done tomorrow and start on bab
