Holiday Update!

Goodness its almost the new year...
Well I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
Mine was calm and relaxing. Jason surprised me with my square plates from Crate & Barrel and then after some budgeting took me back for some additions to the set. (salad plates and bowls) Love them!!!
Redoing my scrap area once again.. We put the desk I hadn't wanted to part with on Craig's list and it was snatched up quickly.. Allows for much needed space I was wasting. I was sad to see it go but it was time.
Starting to look at New Years Resolutions too. I am not one to do silly ones But I really think I need to make some Scrapping goals this year and Put a list here and on my bulletin board so I can stick to it. Christmas is way to close!
#1 - Each month do the Calendar page and not wait tell November to make the Calendars!!!! (and feel free to work ahead)
#2 - Start Christmas Books in June - Remember this year is "Deer" themed and you already bought the Silhouette die's - So no excuses!!!
#3 - Start Christmas Cards in June -  you already have enough stamps to start early....
#4 - Do a Christmas letter in 2011 (Skipped it in 2010) just not enough time
#5 - Complete a card class each month

That should be enough to keep me busy...

Thank you cards

 Card #1
I am ready for snow...
This one is so sweet and easy to make
 Card #2
Yep again ready for some snow:)
another easy to make one that I think you will love.
we can also change this to a horizontal card for another look.
 Card #3
Can you guess this is the one we are doing for Miranda's thank you's...
Its a simple embossing snowflake frame border with a couple of cut outs pop dotted
Still debating about putting a thank you on the card or having her hold a thank you in the picture..
This is just one I quickly printed for the sample.
Card #4
Went with a simple green and white on this one
Wanted it elegant and just plain simple
Card #5
Another one in greens...
This one I went with a simple stripe and kept the top plain

All cards are $2 each

If this is a popular one I can get more of the paper
ordered and create more kits. The amount I have right now there is
enough for 24 cards but as you see above 8 card kits are already
purchased on this one. Its a fun little card.
Cost per card $2
Off to clean up the old office a bit and start working on Christmas cards 6-10.
Hope to have those done and on the blog by next week.
Calendar mini update:
Also found a 8X8 calendar online with dates and holidays already to just add some 8X8 layouts for about $5
I have 2 calendars I am looking at 1 is a true 8X8 so the page has to be a bit smaller or the other is a 8 X 8 1/4 which allows for the 8X8 page and room for the binding. The one that is slightly bigger is on white vs the other on a speckled white. Oh what to do:). I know I am way over thinking it all but I am seriously leaning towards the larger one for a true fit. just easier for the recipient to cut it off and put in a scrapbook later.
Talk to you all soon,
