Wedding Invitations

A million Thank you's go out to Rachelle as she helped Lizzie and I finish up the Wedding invitations last week. All but a few have been mailed out (need a couple of addresses still) Got this idea from the Stampin Up 2009-2010 catalog.

Graduation Invites for Zelda

Assorted Cards

Ladybug Invites - For Charlize!

Fun Ladybug invites made for a very special little girl! Actual invite has info on the white part but for privacy issues I removed that piece and used a white piece of paper instead.

Teacher Gifts 2010

Open View of the gift Full view of all that we made this year Individual views: Gift card holder Matchbox Candy holder (teachers) Matchbox Candy holder (boy classmates) Matchbox Candy holder (girl classmates) **Many thanks to Lizzie for helping me re-figure out how to circle the names for everyone. Melody a friend in AZ had done this years ago on a scrap swap she sent instructions and everything but the MS word version I have now is different and finding the right way took me all afternoon. Lizzie shows up and its done in a couple of minutes. Gotta love my Graphic Designer in training!

Get Well Cards

Got this adorable Penguin Get Well stamp set (retired) and had to play with it. These fun cards are all in teal and brown for a more masculine approach.

Mother's Day Cards

Mother's Day came quick this year and I was making cards at the last minute! Luckily Alli was still here so she could take the cards and gifts back to Oregon when she returned. These cards turned out so cute. I had to keep one for my display shelf. loving this style of card. Can't wait to use it in a card class soon.

Alli's 21st Birthday Cake!

My oldest turned 21 April 24th and since she wasn't arriving in Colorado until the next week I made her a cake and sent it to her via FedEx. This little gem includes 2 packages of Hershey chocolate nuggets wrapped in pink striped shimmery paper then glued to pink covered Styrofoam. I then took ribbon and tied it to make it stay even tighter and placed gems randomly around the ribbon. Repeated this on each of the 3 levels. Topped the cake with this amazing "A" I found at Hobby Lobby and some curling ribbon. Didn't want to over do but wanted it to be festive. I just loved this project and Alli was so surprised to open her cake. I think the additional cash present helped too but the cake made the day.

Easter Card and Gift

Fun and oh so frustrating Easter card... and its little matching matchbox chocolate holder:) gotta have chocolate for Easter. After making a bunch of these Rachelle needed some wine! Love the card it just is very time consuming requires weaving and all sorts of layering. If you have a free afternoon and tons of patience try these out. LOVE this Easter Bunny stamp... On dark brown paper with Bronze embossing powder he looks good enough to eat! Sorry to my family ...... after helping Rachelle make hers it was either skip all of you or drink myself, I chose to skip it. I did make the little chocolate treats for my co workers at the tax office and some of the staff at Walmart. They were a hit!

Recipe Tin Class

This class was held in February and March of 2010 I am behind on my blog entries - Sorry about that But Tax season and Miranda's Surgery took over my life Good news was I did classes here and there just didn't get pictures posted. The pictures here are of my Tin I made for my best friend Tammy for her Birthday last year. She will get it this year! As I am a bad best friend!!! :) Everyone in the class chose their own paper to suit the needs of the person they were giving the tin to. the biggest challenge with these tins this round was that most of them were going to Canada and Australia so we had to come up with a metric version of the Chart on the inside. That was a fun and interesting afternoon!!! Rachelle and I managed to overcome the conversion and get the tins done. I must say they turned out amazing and I hope all the recipients loved them as much as all of the girls making them loved making them for those lucky women!!!
