January Card Class

Come and have fun making 10 Fun and creative cards!

Cost $35

Date: January 7, 2011

Time: 10-3 or until you finish your cards

RSVP: Please email or call by 1/4/12 with your intent to attend the class so I can have your kit ready and plan for lunch thanks

Location: Parker Hobby Lobby 
Head to the back of the store by the art department there is a door labeled Classrooms. 
We are the 3rd door on the left once you go through that doorway. It should be the only one open.

*Lunch is provided - Sub sandwich, chips, dessert and bottled water (chocolate on the table to snack on too!) You are welcome to bring your own drink if you desire but please bring it in a seal-able container as to not spill on the table. Thank you so much for thinking of others on this matter. 
*Bring: basic adhesive, Bone folder, and scissors
 (all other products will be provided by me in the class) 



January's Class focuses a lot on Thank you cards but I knew not everyone needed only Thank You cards so I did some with alternative verbiage or the option will be on the table to change it up a bit if you so decide.
I used some of the new products coming out in January from the Occasions Mini as well as the Sale-A-Brations catalog - Marked it with (new). Hope you all enjoy seeing the pictures and get excited for class on Saturday. 
Let me know as soon as you can if you are planning to attend. My oldest daughter is flying in on Thursday so I want to have all the kits ready before she gets here. And...... Yes she is attending the class on Saturday! Its going to be her first card class. So both of my "old" daughters will be at the class creating with us on Saturday. Miranda gets to stay home with Dad and maybe they will go see a movie or something fun just the two of them.

March Class

March Card Class Card Photo's Thanks so much for your patience this month on the photo's being after the class. This class was a huge one with Tish being Joining us. Wow it was a full house. The card photo delay was due to the butterfly die I had to have for a few of the cards. I am sure you agree the butterfly addition was worth the wait. Paper Pumpkin Magic! - 3 layouts and 6 cards

  I received my paper pumpkin kit for July and wanted to create a few layouts and some of the cards. Video shows the cards and layouts - creating one 12X12 layout during the video for Nancy. You Tube Video: Cards: Daisy in Old Olive card  Flower in Melon Mambo card Poppies in Calypso Coral card Card details: Card base is from CTMH July Paper Pumpkin kit Inks - Artichoke, Rosy and Papaya Cuts: Card base from the kit cut in half then the floral front was cut to 3 3/4 X 4 3/4 the solid pattern was cut to 4 X 5 1/4 (cutting out 3 1/2 X 4 3/4 out of the center) Process: I added the corresponding ink to the card base to soften it and then I added the solid pattern and the floral pattern. I inked the edges of the floral and solid pieces from the kit then adhered them to the card base. I added strip pop tape to the frame and the flower piece then added it to the card.
