Had to send this one off yesterday with her Graduation announcements and party invites or I was going to keep it. Fell in love with this paper and the flower die and all the tags and pockets I used.
I can't wait to hear how she likes this little album.
My main thought in making it for her was she is not a kid, she isn't an official adult so keep it fun but a little on the older side. I think I accomplished that.
All Pockets and file folders as well as the base book was purchased at Creative Cuts and More Terry has a great selection of 6X6 and 8X8 books with fun cover options I chose the oval for this book.
I also got the book in chipboard and then chose black paper to cover the pages. You can chose any color she offers to cover your chipboard. Its a great gift option to have the pages pre done and just assemble. Took about 5 minutes to get the pages ready to start creating.

Cover page - Kept it really simple with the flower #2 layered this is an adorable flower die you can get of course from Terry at Creative Cuts and More - Either in die form or in shape form

Page 2 - Used Tag #04 small and a a small flower to add some journaling to this page

Page 3 - More swirls and a bunch of flowers
Page 4 - Pocket with window and tag added a flower here. the tag comes out for journaling or a picture
Page 5 - Added a black flower on the poppy paper because the dot paper was not able to be used and I needed 3 flowers. Felt the black flower gave it a little pop.
Page 6 - Added a mini folder here with secret journaling space
Page 7 - A pocket and Tag #04 small and more flowers. you might notice I only added leaves to the large flowers. I decided the leaf was looking odd to me on the small one you might have liked it but I just felt it was over kill. I love the leaf though its a perfect leaf and I even think it might make a fun flower on its own.
Page 8 - Another with the pocket and tag #04 small I do love this combo and I loved how the Baroque Motif swirl behind it made it pop.
Page 10 - Ok I am addicted to these pockets and tags but I do love them! Added a larger photo mat here and a pocket with tag#04 small these are the perfect size if you want to have a little hidden journaling or a hidden photo. Great option for a gift since you have no idea what they will be doing with the album.
Page 11 - Same larger Photo mat and used the flowers and swirls to embellish
Page 12 - Added another file folder for some hidden journaling here
Page 13 - And used a slightly different envelope on this page. it has a circle on the front/back of it that I used as a frame for the flower.

Page 16 - Keeping the pages simple but they turned out so sweet
Page 17 and the last page. This one is a larger page so I had to measure and inset the paper to keep it even with the other pages so it didn't show through. I could of had it show through to the front of the album but I wanted it to be like the other pages and be 6X6 so kept it smaller and used the format of the other pages when laying out the paper. I loved how it turned out. Again the swirls make the flowers pop and the flowers just add a sweetness I can't express.
I wish I had weeks with this album to show everyone in person the pictures just don't do it justice.
I wish everyone was into albums and I would do a class on this one.
It was a really fun and easy gift to create.
