My Time Made Easy
As you all know I search for the perfect teacher gift every Christmas and Schools End trying to come up with the perfect packaging for the 12 gifts that are always similar. 12 Starbucks gift cards, chocolate, and the recently added Via pouches. Its of course getting more difficult since I have given some amazing gift boxes. I should have started off really simple! So in my quest this round I found the website My Time Made Easy and found some adorable box ideas. They even have a coffee one but it calls for 2 cups and a bunch of stuff when I just want a single set. I'm not made of money and I am giving to 10 teachers and 2 bus drivers. So in my 5 pages of boxes search I found the Take Time Pocket set and felt I could work the magic here. I thought about it for a day or two and came back purchased the file and cut it on my new Silhouette Cameo (cut in about 2 seconds very quiet I might add). Now for the drama! I actually had to score the file, it came with only a few tic marks so there was a negative. Now if I was making only a couple I wouldn't probably mention it but I was making 12 and it was quite the pain to have to score so many and I was using Real Red which I had barely enough and I messed up on 1 so I was a bit panicked since if I scored wrong you could see it and I had to toss the whole piece. With that said the box is amazing and I am glad I got it.
I had tried a few files of boxes through Silhouette and they looked funny (Easter eggish and tree types just weird and not what I wanted) then looked all over the internet for SVG files since I can now cut them and nothing was right. This site has the right stuff I want just wish they scored them better for the price.
I also found the perfect digi paper for the box called coffee beans and it printed like a dream.
Off to finish up some graduation announcements and then the teacher gifts so I can post those pictures for you all.
Have an amazing Tuesday,
Dianne
