Summer Vibes #3

This was a fun style of layout to try out. Had made a bunch of the flowers for the other
layouts and they fit nicely here. Really like the flip flops and since I had a bunch from the CTMH kit
thought it was nice to keep using them in the layouts. 4 - 3.75 X 3.75 pictures will fit nicely on this 
layout. A little journaling on the side and its complete. - Great colors and looks fun for summer pictures.


  Details:

Base page - Wave pattern paper (2) 8.5 X 11.25 Cut out 6.5 X 9.25 from the center for other layouts  
White paper (2) 8.25 X 11
Photo spaces are 3.75 X 3.75 (option of course to have pictures cover the white completely or size to 3.5 X 3.5 - I like a little white border so I will most likely go with the 3.5 X 3.5.
Striped pattern paper (2) .5 X 11.25 (about .25 showing so this is a place you could use a scrap or a zip strip easily and get the same affect. I had already cut them so I just slipped them under until I was happy with what was showing. 
Canary Strip (2) 4 X 11.25 - Chose this over Lemonade to soften the layout a bit. (I'm not a huge yellow fan) This was a good way to add it without the layout yelling YELLOW!!!!!!!!!
Journaling card from Summer Vibes journaling cards (Cut the 2 cards to 3.5 X 3.5) The strip card was a toss up but I ended up really liking the flower sticker overlaying part of it. just one of those things I was happy happened.

Paper Pumpkin Magic! - 3 layouts and 6 cards

  I received my paper pumpkin kit for July and wanted to create a few layouts and some of the cards. Video shows the cards and layouts - creating one 12X12 layout during the video for Nancy. You Tube Video: Cards: Daisy in Old Olive card  Flower in Melon Mambo card Poppies in Calypso Coral card Card details: Card base is from CTMH July Paper Pumpkin kit Inks - Artichoke, Rosy and Papaya Cuts: Card base from the kit cut in half then the floral front was cut to 3 3/4 X 4 3/4 the solid pattern was cut to 4 X 5 1/4 (cutting out 3 1/2 X 4 3/4 out of the center) Process: I added the corresponding ink to the card base to soften it and then I added the solid pattern and the floral pattern. I inked the edges of the floral and solid pieces from the kit then adhered them to the card base. I added strip pop tape to the frame and the flower piece then added it to the card.
