Update and a Tool Review!

Hi Guys..
I know I was doing so well posting almost everyday and then nothing.
Well the good news is I have been helping Liz get ready for the baby.
We got a ton of clothes from Derek's Family that she got to go through.
Sad news on that was most of the girls they have in the family are opposite months so we did get a  bunch that will help there was a ton of cute stuff Norah wont get to wear. But what she can probably wear is all washed and in bins ready for Liz to pull out when she reaches the right sizes.  It should be any day now that Norah makes her appearance so I will keep you all informed. I also took down the table in the family room and have now turned that area into the "grandchildren Zone" Kept the table though its just in pieces legs under the stairs and the top is in the garage so we will have it again when I need it for a crop or something.
to nice of a table to get rid of.
So after that long winded up date now onto the tool review..
Shapes punched in the the in colors and pierced using the new templates
I purchased the new piercing tool, mat and guide in the new Stampin Up catalog and started playing with it this weekend.

The piercing tool is very nice and very sharp. Love it. It is very user friendly, well until you poke yourself. I recommend you avoid that it is very very sharp.

The new mat is nice and will be perfect for my ball tools as well as anything that requires the need for a foam mat. it is quite thick too unlike the last little one. the size is 9 1/2 X 6 1/2 X 3/8 (good size)

And last the plastic templates are quite cool they have 13 different designs right now and for those of you that saw the newest holiday catalog with me. Have seen the next set comes with 19 more (ornaments and the window frames and labels collection which the last 2 are 5 sizes each) Its really nice that they are taking the time to make these easy for us to piece around and give that extra bit of pizzazz we all like.
Here is a picture of the old template vs the new template
The differences on the new template is that the no longer have the eyelet placement and the template used to be 4 X 4 and it is now 6 X 6.
With the added punch pieces and Dies that they have added it is a must have.
Have a wonderful Monday,

Loves,
Dianne

Paper Pumpkin Magic! - 3 layouts and 6 cards

I received my paper pumpkin kit for July and wanted to create a few layouts and some of the cards. Video shows the cards and layouts - creating one 12X12 layout during the video for Nancy. I added strip pop tape to the frame and the flower piece then added it to the card. Finished with the included sequins. 12X12 Layout: Calypso Coral card 12X12 Layout bits: Kraft (2) 12X12, (2) 4 1/4 X 6 1/4 and
