Made a bag book for Rachelle for her birthday back in May and just gave it to her this week so I was just able to post pictures of the completed project now.
I used the Cheerful Treat paper line from Stampin up complemented by Melon Mambo, Concord Crush and Lucky Limeade. All colors that just make this paper pop. It was a paper I had really not used much of and not found a need for in cards but when I was looking for the right paper for this gift I instantly thought of Rachelle and how she could put some special pictures in it of her and Char.
Next I used the dot paper and the Melon Mambo to border it
Love how it works so well together. More flowers and I mixed all the colors too..
Interesting again the papers I struggled with for cards just fell into place for a bag book. Loved this page and Concord crush a paper that I was not overly fond of - such a deep purple and I am not into purples worked so well as a sweet border with this paper.
The purple paper here has a slight pattern and the Lucky Limeade is so nice bordering it
This stripe was again not a really easy paper to work with and turned into a neat addition to the book.
Love it with the flowers.
Tag #1 used the paper from the books on the tags to give the book a little more brightness instead of white standard tags.
Tag #2 - love the Melon Mambo
Tag #3 - Didn't Concord Crush do a nice job on the background here??!!!

Cover page I kept this one simple and left the sweet paper (my favorite of this set) without a title so that she could add what ever she wanted and we could title it later if she wanted or not and put a picture on it.
Its up to Rachelle.
The next pages use the stripe paper I found this paper so hard to use for cards but as a horizontal page mat with the Lucky Limeade it was toned down just right and those flowers I made to match the cover were just the right embellishment. not too much and not too little. The interesting part to me is I had cut a bunch to make a clump of them on the cover and it just didn't work. So again the cover was clear of everything. Its up to Rachelle.

Hope you enjoyed the fun Book I gave to Rachelle for her birthday and I hope she loved it as much as I had fun making it for her. Can't wait to see what she does with the book.
Have a great weekend,
Loves,
Dianne
