Another Sneak Peak into May

As I sat Saturday night and started stamping and punching flowers I thought it might be another good sneak peak for you all to see.



I'm so glad I started a bit early on this class. I find its really hard to use my machines during the day.(Jason is on so many phone calls.) That not only includes the silhouette but it also includes the Gemini. Which I have to say I actually use it more now days then the Silhouette.

The card I did before this one had 19 cuts per card. Crazy when you think about it that way. I completed 380 cuts for 1 card grouping.
With using a punch on the current card I am able to cut the die cutting to 80 cuts. And using some pattern paper I believe I will only have 20 images to stamp for those cuts - pattern paper with bees seems to match the bee die I have. YAY!!
The flower images I was able to stamp and punch I had 100 of each flower (each card has 15 flowers to play with) so that was 600 stamped images and 300 punched completed flowers. Couldn't just have 1 image on a flower now could I???
Isn't it crazy when you think of the pieces a card takes with the actual stamping and cutting of images. Lucky for me I found a flagged label in the silhouette store for the verbiage. Another score.

Paper Pumpkin Magic! - 3 layouts and 6 cards

  I received my paper pumpkin kit for July and wanted to create a few layouts and some of the cards. Video shows the cards and layouts - creating one 12X12 layout during the video for Nancy. You Tube Video: Cards: Daisy in Old Olive card  Flower in Melon Mambo card Poppies in Calypso Coral card Card details: Card base is from CTMH July Paper Pumpkin kit Inks - Artichoke, Rosy and Papaya Cuts: Card base from the kit cut in half then the floral front was cut to 3 3/4 X 4 3/4 the solid pattern was cut to 4 X 5 1/4 (cutting out 3 1/2 X 4 3/4 out of the center) Process: I added the corresponding ink to the card base to soften it and then I added the solid pattern and the floral pattern. I inked the edges of the floral and solid pieces from the kit then adhered them to the card base. I added strip pop tape to the frame and the flower piece then added it to the card. Final Layout to the March Album Retreat - Together

 My goal was to get this series done by the end of May and I did it!!!
