Master Bedroom Reboot

Normal Life stuff: 

Saturday, I got a "Bee in my Bonnet" that dust mites might be adding to my cough?!?!?

So, I ordered the Covers for our bed, Miranda's bed and all of our pillows.
I chose this brand after a bit of research.

King size
Box Springs
Twin size
Standard pillow 
King pillow

Sunday -
Miranda's items arrived.
Miranda's room was easy to cover - Love the twin size.
I was even able to put the mattress topper inside the encasement.
At this time, I was still waiting for ours to arrive and hoping my mattress
topper would fit too.

Monday -
Our bed items arrived, and I went full on crazy cleaning the room and getting all the dust bunnies from under our bed and nightstands. 

                          

Grabbed the cleaning supplies - Vacuum, window cleaner, towels, mop & solution, baby wipes, and standard cleaner.

                                


Next, I removed the mattress, the box springs and vacuumed the floor, bed frame and then mopped the floor.  

**Filled up the vacuum 2 times with all the dust. How did so much get under the bed??? I am amazed and honestly astonished at how much dust there was. But all that dust is now gone.

Then we covered the mattress (with topper and fluffy mattress pad too), box springs and all the pillows - Felt amazing to get to this step.

After that was all done, I pulled out the side tables and wiped them completely down to get
rid of any dust and then vacuumed and mopped under them too.

Now it was time to reassemble the bed. 

Then I took the 2 small chairs and table out of the room. Got that all wiped down, vacuumed. and mopped then put them back.

So now the room is dust free for a minute or two.

Hopefully all of this will help my cough as I have a hoarse voice again. 

I also ordered new fans for our room they should arrive on Wednesday and Thursday.
I hope that I am able to keep them clean. The new one has an easy to remove front panel so that will help. I have been able to clean all the other fans in the house but the ones in our room which has bothered me for a while. (worried that is adding to my cough too)
